Nightlife or 'Fete' as we call it!

Tobagonians and Trinidadians love an excuse to party - the biggest and best party is Trinidad Carnival held immediately before Lent - usually in February or March.
Tobago is definitely quieter and more laid back than the big sister island but if you like to go out, there is often something going on at night or a festival to celebrate. "Sunday School" street party at Buccoo village is well known to residents and visitors as the place to 'lime' and dance with live steel band and DJ Reggae music every Sunday evening from 9pm.
Other places such as Cat and Fiddle on Fridays, Divers Den on Tuesday, Golden Star on Wednesday and Bar Code and Love Shack are lots of fun!

Restaurants and eating out

Tobago also has a surprising number of restaurants in beautiful settings which offer delicious Creole food Caribbean style, Seafood, as well as Spanish tapas, Italian, Continental, Indian and Chinese cuisine plus popular fast food and BarBQ outlets.

Well worth trying are the "Ladies at Store Bay" ... Miss Jean, Miss Esmie, Miss Sylvie ..... for tasty Tobago dishes, in generous servings at extremely low prices.
Shore Things seaside cafe at Lambeau serves fresh salads, sandwiches, and whole wheat pizza with fresh toppings; while the Kariwak Village restaurant is renowned for its tasty wholesome (and vegetarian) food prepared with their very own herbs.
